I Don't Know

After a very long time there is something good happening in my life. I was in Kharagpur for a small period of 8 days and during those 8 days I gave my project eval and I am finally a B. Tech. It took me one extra year to do it but what the heck… It feels nice to have a degree under my belt. Atleast the qualification in my resume has taken a leap from 12th pass to engineering graduate.
On my way back I read Gabriel Gracia Marquez’s “Chronicle of a death Foretold” (I was going to use GGM, I don’t know how many of you would have got it). It is definitely not GGM’s best work but still a tour de force performance. The truth to be learnt from the book is that there is no real truth; there are only perceptions (No, I am not quoting GGM but I think it was said by someone smarter than me).
Another good news is that my first crush, N.S.(I think I mentioned her earlier in one of my posts) is in town. I haven’t seen her for the past 4 years but this time I hope to catch a glimpse. After all she lives 200 meters away from me and she is here for the next 10 days. We are bound to run into each other and if we do I am going to ask for her phone number. Damn, I keep promising the same thing to myself every year for the past 9 years but I have never been successful. My only hope is that law of averages has to apply.

4 X 4 Panktiyaan Sunata Hoon

Koi deewana kehta hai, koi pagal samajhta hai
Magar dharti ki bechaini ko bas badal samajhta hai
Main tujhse door kaisa hoon, tu mujhse door kaisi hai
Ye tera dil samajhta hai ya mera dil samajhta hai…..

Mohbbat ek ehsaason ki pawan si kahani hai
Kabhi Kabira deewana tha, kabhi meera deewani hai
Yahan sab log kehte hain meri aankhon main aasoon hain
Jo tu samjhe to moti hain, jo na samjhe to paani hain

Bahut bikhra bahut toota thapede seh nahin paaya
Hawaaon ke isharon par magar main beh nahin paaya
Adhoora ansuna hi reh gaya yun pyar ka kissa
Kabhi tum sun nahin paaye, kabhi main keh nahin paaya

Bhramar koi kumudni par machal baitha to hungama
Hamare dil main koi khwaab pal baitha to hungama
Abhi tak doob ke sunte sab kissa mohhabat ka
Main kisse ko haqeekat main badal baitha to hungama

Bharatpur Blues

Life at bharatpur is dull... very very dull. The simple reason being the fact that there is no net at home or let me put it in a better way.. there is no computer at home. The "thing" that is exists on my table wont be called a computer because of its configuration which is :
Processor : Intel Celeron
RAM : 32 MB
No CD Drive
No Floppy Drive
Hard Disk : 2 GB
No working port for a modem.

Now you tell me what can I do with that. On the good side, the TV is working fine. I dont know why people say, " There is nothing good on TV". Atleast I dont think so. I love watching the daily dose of "The Simpsons". Barkha Dutt can be found 24 * 7 on "NDTV 24/7" and I think most of you are aware of my fascinaion of this female. And when everything fails, there is "The History Channel".

The cyber cafe guy gave me wierd looks when I told him that I am here to write my blog and not to check my mail as he had never heard of a thing called a blog. I am returning to KGP on the 20th if my reservations get confirmed otherwise on the 28t. Adios.
