Nehru Hall -- The Musical
My so called home for the past 4 years has suddenly turned musical this semester. It was a surprise, a pleasent surprise I must say that when I came back from the vacations I found Sony Music Systems in my mess, canteen and bookstore. For the first few days they were playing something what some people might call music but I beg to differ from them. All of them constantly played the song(I hate using this word for it) Agar tum mil jaao, zamana chor denge hum and it was horrible. I donated three MP3 CDs, one to each of them of floyd, zep and doors respectively. I also made a pact with the canteen guy, Ashim that whenever I come to hog(yeah.. thats the right word... I dont eat, I hog) he has to play zep and if he keeps doing that I will donate him a CD every month. I think thats a cheap bargain because for as little as 10 bucks a month I get to listen to good stuff and dont get agitated at the stupid numbers. However I couldn't make the same deal with the book store guy. In the mess the CDs are just lying there and anyone can change them. I had given CDs to a special someone(hope you are reading this you email-less woman) but she probably likes Backstreet Boys better than Doors. Its a perfect case of an old adage which said "Kutte ko ghee khila do to use hazam nahin hota". I think she is fuming reading this but I had to vent out my frustration somewhere :)
Things are improving on the hard-disk front. The computer might be repaired and working by this weekend and I have taken a decision to remove Windows from my Comp. Fedora is the only one that I havent tried and I am planning to give that a shot.
